Who Is Your Customer?
You got a business. Maybe it is on Etsy. Maybe your a graphic desinger, photographer, or a virtual assistant. You got a blog. You set up your social. You are ready but how do you let your target customer know where to find you? You could spend your time and money letting the whole world know who you are or you could just target those who want your product or services.
So how do you know where to find them? First you got to figure out who they are. There are several ways to do this. The best is look at your competition.
See who is buying their product or using it. Where are they doing giveaways? Were are they selling (online and off)? Look at what blogs they are advertising on. This will give you on who they are going after.
Ask people who buy from you. Ask them about what they are looking for, why they bought your product, and what they liked about it. Ask them it they have a blog. It's an amazing way to find out who they are. Plus it is a great way to find great blogs to read.
Put up a survey on your blog. Your blog should reflect your brand. Set up a survey and ask them about their lives, who they are, what they like, what they do.
Once you figure out the basics of who you are selling too than it will be easier to figure out what stores try to get in to, which shows to sign up for, and where to advertise online.
